HHO Generators

HHO fuel conversion is the process of making hydrogen from water. Whether you buy you hydrogen generator off the the internet or build your own it does'nt matter. When water is exposed to electricity (water electrolysis) a positive and negative , it is split into hydrogen and oxygen( 2 parts hydrogen and 1 part oxygen) thats the conversion.

An electrolytes is almost always used with water in order for conduction of electricty detween the positive and negeative plates in you hho generator.

After water is converted into Oxyhydrogen it's then vented into the air intake of your car. You then have a hho conversion car.

Oxyhdrogen is also known as Brown's Gas.

There are many design's on the market, Mag Drive, EBN, Water4fuel etc. You should look at the different advertizements for them, read all you can , most of their sites have lots of free information about hho Fuel generators.

You've seen them on You-Tube. Video's of Fuel Cells, HHO Generators. People getting 20 to 200 % percent increases in fuel mileage burning hho.

Well i decided to build on of these HHO Generators to see my self. I had a real problem finding the stainless steel needed, so i used some aluminum I had. Using just 2 elements i was able to get bubbles coming from it. The aluminum cause a real mess in my tank. Aluminum hydrogen generator just did not work for me. The search for stainless steel was on. Home Depot is about 35 miles away, so off we go to get Stainless Steal. The only stainless steel usable in the store was cover plates of wall plugs, this is what a lot of people use to build HHO Generators with, like the first Smacksbooster. Building a home made hydrogen generator is easy. Do your home work , get our parts, build a small portable hydrogen generator untill you learn how it works then make your automobile hydrogen generator.

How I started out

First thing i did was regulate my baking soda and water to get the amps at 15. This thing is really working. How do you test to see if it works? Isaw where someone was used soap in the bubbler, then scooped up some bubbles and light them. A friend was over and want to see them burn, so we got a large plastic spoon full of bubbles , walked into the yard , put a lighter to them. Sounded like a fire cracker going off. YES THE GAS GIVEN OFF WILL BURN, OR AT LEAST WILL EXPLODE.

May be something to this: My truck is a 1988 GMC I bought used a few years back,it's never had a full tank of gas since i've had it. Off to the bank for some cash.

As you can see it took $87 to fill this truck up,i drove it for a few days and refilled. On July 10th i installed my hho generator. Next fillup came 2 days later, 1 mile per gallon increase, not bad 10%, that gets my gas cost down to 3.60 a gallon instead of $4.00 a gallon. I did a little playing with this thing, increase the amps , mileage up to 17.77 from 11.68, now thats is an increase. Set 2 check engine codes.

Looked Great but failed This is what happens to them after running for a week . The heat melts the lid. 2nd grade science we learned heat rises, so all the heat travels up the plates and bolts to the top. Top melts. As you can see the heat from the pos and neg post burn the top up. Gas leaked for a few days on last fill up.

I started off with just 3 plates - + -, but i did not get the gas production i was looking for. I had seen some were using neutral plates ( not connected to positive or negitive post). Have no idea for this but the amps are lower and use more baking soda. Before using this setup the most baking soda i could use was 1/2 tsp baking soda.The hydrogen generator seems to run great at 15 amps with 2 1/2 tsp of baking soda. That is(tea spoons) not table spoon.

How to find out how much baking soda to use in you HHO Generator.

This is how I did it.
7:40 Pm fill HHO generator with water and 1/2 tsp baking soda 2amps
7:45 Pm 1/2 tsp bs 2 amps
7:55 Pm 1 tsp bs 5 amps
8:10 Pm 1 tsp bs 6 amps
8:15 Pm 1 tsp bs 6 amps
8:20 Pm 1 1/4 tsp bs 8 amps
8:30 Pm 1 1/2 tsp bs 9 3/4 amps
8:35 Pm 1 1/2 tsp bs 10 amps
8:40 Pm 1 1/2 tsp bs 10.5 amps
8:41 Pm 1 3/4 tsp bs 12 amps
8:45 Pm 2 tsp bs 14 amps
8:50 Pm 2 1/2 tsp 15 amps
As you can see i added either 1/4 or 1/2 tsp baking soda . The figures shown are the total amount of baking soda in water at the time, not added each time.
Next morning starting at 8:20 am the hho generator was running 7 1/2 amps outside temp .After about 30 minutes it was upto 15 amps, at 10:00 am it had risen to 19 amps. As the the amps rise so does the heat. Ad heat and amps rise in HHO Generators the gas out put also rises.

In the next couple of days i will refill the tank, get mileage ready and report here so check back.

How the Hydrogen Gas is Made Hydrogen is everywhere, most comman place for us is water H2O. The way we get hydrogen out of water for our hho generators is with electrolysis (water splitting). We do this with the stainless steel plates, voltage from battery, and electrolyte. The electrolyte can be salt, baking soda,drain cleaner or gallium.
As the temp goes up with the amps from battery, hydrogen and oxygen is seperated from the water. They rise from the hho generator thru the hose into the motor thru the breather. It's pretty simple.

You will need to check the thread of O2 sensor and buy one with the correct threads. This may vary from car to car. Some ares running hho generators require 2.
