HHO Diesel
Rudolf Diesel, the inventor of the diesel engine , who in 1912 said, "The use of vegetable oils for engine fuels may seem insignificant today, but such oils may become, in the courde of time, as important as petroluem and the coal tar products of the present time."
Just as the thoughts of Randolf Diesel have come to pass so is the belief that cars and trucks will run on hydrogen. Hho diesel boosting is becoming a thing of the future as more and more diesel enginges are being boosted with the use of HHo.
The Federal Goverment issued a report in 2007 the use of HHo Generators on Diesel Trucks improved the mileage by 4%. 4% may not sound like a lot but if you are driving 3000 miles per week times 52 weeks thats 156000 miles per year. Four to Five thousands of dollars a year in fuel savings.
Hho diesel generators being built by the diy'ers are getting improvement far greater than 4%. Ten to fifteen per cent is more common today for increases using hho diesel technology developed at home.
Building your own generator for a diesel is just as easy as building for a car, you only have to build it larger. The best way would to build multi cells plumbed together in a series. The cost will probably be less than building a large cell and will be easyier to place under the hood. With multi cells they don't all have to be together.
HHO diesel cells have been in use for years and sell for thousands of dollars. You don't have to pay thousands of dollars if you build your own. Since most diesel truck owners work on their own vehicles , or understand the works under the hood , installing your own homemade hho diesel generator should be no problem.
How I started out The same things being used to produce hho for cars can and are being used for diesel hho conversions. Only on a much larger scale. The diesel enging in transfer trucks have very large engines. The larger the enginge the more hho gas needs to be produced.
HHo diesel being the same as for gas, just more of it.

Looked Great but failed  This is what happens to them after running for a week . The heat melts the lid. 2nd grade science we learned heat rises, so all the heat travels up the plates and bolts to the top. Top melts. As you can see the heat from the pos and neg post burn the top up. Gas leaked for a few days on last fill up.

How to find out how much baking soda to use in you HHO Generator.
This is how I did it.
7:40 Pm fill HHO generator with water and 1/2 tsp baking soda 2amps
7:45 Pm 1/2 tsp bs 2 amps
7:55 Pm 1 tsp bs 5 amps
8:10 Pm 1 tsp bs 6 amps
8:15 Pm 1 tsp bs 6 amps
8:20 Pm 1 1/4 tsp bs 8 amps
8:30 Pm 1 1/2 tsp bs 9 3/4 amps
8:35 Pm 1 1/2 tsp bs 10 amps
8:40 Pm 1 1/2 tsp bs 10.5 amps
8:41 Pm 1 3/4 tsp bs 12 amps
8:45 Pm 2 tsp bs 14 amps
8:50 Pm 2 1/2 tsp 15 amps
As you can see i added either 1/4 or 1/2 tsp baking soda . The figures shown are the total amount of baking soda in water at the time, not added each time.
Next morning starting at 8:20 am the hho generator was running 7 1/2 amps outside temp .After about 30 minutes it was upto 15 amps, at 10:00 am it had risen to 19 amps. As the the amps rise so does the heat. Ad heat and amps rise in HHO Generators the gas out put also rises.
In the next couple of days i will refill the tank, get mileage ready and report here so check back.

7 Plate Cells for My HHO Generator

I started off with just 3 plates - + -, but i did not get the gas production i was looking for. I had seen some were using neutral plates ( not connected to positive or negitive post). Have no idea for this but the amps are lower and use more baking soda. Before using this setup the most baking soda i could use was 1/2 tsp baking soda.The hydrogen generator seems to run great at 15 amps with 2 1/2 tsp of baking soda. That is(tea spoons) not table spoon. |
Ford introduce the Ford Fiesta at the British Internation Motor Show. this little jewel is reported to get 63 miles per gallon on diesel combined and 73 miles per gallon highway. The biofuel folks here in the States are out of luck because it's only going be sold in Europe. They must not think we need fuel economy. Even more reaseon to convert your diesel to biofuel or hho converstion.

State of the art 4.5L v8 Durmax clean Turbo Diesel in come to Chevrolet light duty trucks in 2010. 25% increase in fuel mileage is sure to be a hit with pickup truck onwers. Image what we could do with a hho generator added to this diesel converstion.
